Ask me the following questions one at a time. Wait for my answer before asking the next question.
1. What do your best customers count on you for that they couldn’t get from another printer?
2. What’s the most common concern or hesitation you hear from new prospects?
3. Where will your sales team use these testimonials most often (emails, proposals, website, social media)?
4. Think of a customer who’s been happy with your work. What did they struggle with before, and what changed after working with you?Once I provide my answers, take the customer story I shared and rewrite it into three versions:
1. A sales-ready snippet (1-2 sentences) focused on the prospect concern I mentioned, ready to drop into an email or conversation.
2. A proposal insert (2-4 sentences) that connects the customer’s problem to the outcome, written to reinforce confidence at decision time.
3. A website testimonial (2-3 sentences) that reads naturally and builds credibility for a first-time visitor.For each version, lead with the problem or concern, not the praise.
